Parent help desperately needed for 2 earnest jobs!
Hi Parents,
PLEASE HELP. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. C'MON PARENTS>>>>>>>>PLEASE VOLUNTEER......THESE TWO JOBS MUST BE DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. We need 2 parent volunteers to take down the Trek outdoor banner on the Salmon side of Lincoln's building, and put up the Earnest banner. (The Trek banner will be taken to Scotland for our performance.) The school has a ladder tall enough to do the job. Although this sounds like a guy job, women can certainly get it done too. A husband and wife team would qualify to get this done. Carrying the ladder is something the janitors could help with, during the hours they are at school. You just need to bring 30-40 zipties, and not be afraid of heights. The second volunteer is there as a spotter, and to help move the ladder.
2. Jim Peerenboom volunteered his truck if someone will go pick up his keys from him at school and drive to go get the four sheets of 4'x8' black on black foam core sheets at a supplier near the airport, called Calsak Plastics. He has carried 4x8 sheets of plywood with no problem in his truck. These may hang out the back a little, so it's important to do this job when it's not raining, and when the streets are dry. This job needs to get done by Wednesday/Thursday at latest.
I heard not a squeak from my initial plea to the parent group about the foam core errand. So now with the ability to use Jim's truck, someone out there, please volunteer.
